Message to Send	I urge you to reject Hackensack University Medical Center's proposal to build a for-profit, acute-care inpatient hospital in Pascack Valley. There's simply no way to justify destabilizing and weakening existing Bergen County hospitals like The Valley Hospital and Englewood Hospital and Medical Center for the sake of profits for investors in a private equity fund. Nor does it make sense to approve a plan that goes against all of the recommendations of the Corzine Administration for improving healthcare in Bergen County. Let's put patients ahead of profits, and keep our current hospitals strong, healthy and viable. Thank you.
